- Page 4 Instructions – 4089K Step 1 – Distance Between Feet • Measure the desired mounting locations on the covered service body. • Determine the best mounting width. Locate the corresponding slots on the ladder rack bow. Be sure the same slot is used at both ends of the ladder rack bow.
- Page 5 Instructions – 4089K Step 3 – Install Rack • Place ladder rack with feet on top of the covered service body. • Be sure the rack is centered on top of the covered service body. • Ensure the rear of the rack is far enough off the rear of the vehicle that when placing a ladder on the rack, the ladder does not hit the vehicle.
- Page 6 Instructions – 4089K • Mark through all four feet onto the top of the covered service body. Always check for wires, fuel tanks and lines, brake lines and other important vehicle functionality items prior to drilling and installing all products.
