PREPARE EXTERIOR & INTERIOR ASSEMBLIES
How to determine if your door is a Right Swing or Left Swing door? While facing the door, if the door hinges are on the right side of the door, you have a Right Swing Door.
If the hinges are on the left side of the door, you have a Left Swing Door.
¿Cómo determinar si su puerta es batiente a la derecha o a la izquierda? Al mirar hacia la puerta, si las bisagras de la puerta están en el lado derecho de la puerta, tiene una
puerta batiente derecha. Si las bisagras están en el lado izquierdo de la puerta, tiene puerta batiente izquierda.
The lever lockset is packaged with the exterior and
interior spindles in the neutral (non-handed) position
with the lever catch facing down.
Determine the handing of your door and set the position of the spindles in the correct orientation as shown below.

Push in and hold.

When inserting the key in the next step, hold the cylinder tailpiece to prevent accidental
component removal.
