Installing the Batteries (batteries not included) Before you start using the radio, you must first install the batteries into the battery compartment. There are two battery compartments. One is for AA use only ( 6AA), and the other is for rechargeable AA batteries ONLY ( 8AA)! Choose the compartment you want to use.
Quick Start- (Portable Mode) Insert the antenna into the connector. Insert 6 AA batteries into the slide on (batteries not included). battery case Rotate the ON/OFF knob. Use the channel selector to select the desired channel. Press the push to talk button, and start talking.
Quick Start- (Mobile Mode) 1. Slide the mobile adapter onto the CB Radio. 2. Plug your mobile adapter into your vehicle’s cigarette lighter plug. 3. Plug in the other connector into an external antenna (see note below). 4. Rotate the ON/OFF knob. 5.
