Attaching the Spring Clips Attach the 4 spring clips, 2 on each end, anywhere from 4.5 to 8 inches from the end of the fixture. Install the spring clips on the backside of the flat panel frame equidistant from the ends of the frame. Carefully, push the clips down over the top edge of the flat panel frame. -
