1. Description
The ARZ Z-Wave roller shutters are intended for mounting onto FAKRO roof
windows and have been adapted for cooperation with wireless control devices offered by
FAKRO. The ARZ Z-Wave roller shutters are equipped with a two-way "Z-Wave" radio
communication module – ZWR. For communication, the Z-Wave module utilizes radio wave
frequency of 868,43 MHZ. The ARZ Z-Wave roller shutters feature two limit switches:
• limit switch at unfolded armour position,
• limit switch at folded armour position.
To be able to operate the shutter, it is necessary to install it following the picture installation
instructions included in the product package. Subsequently, the roller shutter should be
programmed for one of the remote controls/controllers offered by FAKRO – see section 2.

In Figure 1 there is presented a general view of the available buttons and signaling, situated on
the upper right hand guide of the roller shutter.
