    4. Einsatzgebiete und Wirkungsweise MTS 5000 UV 7 ist ein kompakter, installations- und wartungsfreundlicher Filter, der zum Reinigen von kleinen Seen, Teichen und Aquarien entwickelt wurde. Seine geringen Abmessungen erleichtern die Aufstellung im Garten und die Wartungsarbeiten. Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass das Wasser im Teich immer klar und sauber bleibt.

    Die Eintauchtiefe der Teichpumpe sollte aus biologischen Gründen für eine optimale Funktion des Filtersystems ca. 40 cm betragen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Teichpumpe auf schlammfreien Untergrund (Steinplatte) steht. 5.3. Inbetriebnahme Achtung! Sicherheitsmaßnahmen des UV-C Strahlers (s.o.) und der Pumpe beachten!   • Page 8 Reinigung des Quarzglases 1. Nach dem Ausbau von Lampenfassung (1) und UV-C Röhre (2) ziehen Sie vorsichtig das Quarzglas (3) aus dem Gehäuse. Verwenden Sie dazu einen breiten Schraubenzieher, eine Münze oder ähnliches. Stecken Sie das Werkzeug in einen der Einschnitte, die am Ende des Gewindes der Schutzhülle zu sehen sind, und heben Sie diese vorsichtig an.

    3. General safety instructions Please read through these operating instructions carefully and make yourself conversant with the control elements and the proper use of this product.     4. Application areas The MTS 5000 UV 7 is a compact and complete filtering system, specifically designed to clean garden lakes. Thanks to its small size it is easy to position in a garden and to care for. This device will ensure crystal clean water to your pond.

    Insert the 12 bioballs (11) into the three compartments of the container (12). Open the air-tight bags and place the sponges (10) in the three compartments on the bioballs (sponges will gradually return to their original size). Connect the pump with the UVC lamp with the hose and the joints (6+15) provided. Make sure the inflow sealing (8) is inserted.

Clean the rotor and motor housing with clear water and check abrasion, by holding the shaft tightly and turn the rotor: The rotor should turn smoothly. Assemble the parts again in reverse order and mount the components correctly. Check if dirt or foreign residues got into the pump and clean it according to this instruction.
