MOTOR BRAKE.

The motor of the machine contains an electromagnetic-spring brake.
When the machine is supplied with electrical power you can start the machine by
pressing the push-button "START": the brake is disengaged and so the machine
can run but only if the door in lexan of the stamping area and the door of the
hand-wheel are closed.
When a protection cover is opened, the brake will automatically stop the motor to
avoid every movements of the machine.
ATTENTION:
WHEN THE BRAKE IS DISENGAGED, THE UPPER (RECIPROCATING) DIE CAN GO DOWN
BECAUSE OF ITS OWN WEIGHT.
SO, IN CASE OF INTERVENTIONS INSIDE THE STAMPING AREA, BE CAREFUL TO AVOID
ACCIDENTS.

1.6. EMERGENCY SITUATION.

There is no particular emergency situation (i.e. fire, dangerous substances
emission/loss), anyway it is necessary to have a powder extinguisher for eventual
fire situation (oil, electric equipment).
