Operating procedure

4.1 Dielectric sample preparation

When preparing a liquid dielectric sample for testing, it is necessary to:
a) fill one jar from the container for storage sample of liquid dielectric;
b) the cell should be prepared according to section 3.2, steps (a) and (b),
after long storage, when the type of liquid dielectric to be tested is changed or
after testing of a highly contaminated liquid dielectric;
c) immediately before filling the test cell, the sample container is gently
agitated and turned over several times in such a way as to ensure, as far as
possible, a homogeneous distribution of the impurities contained in the liquid
without causing the formation of air bubbles.
Equilibrate the sample to room temperature.

4.2 Testing in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60156:2018

For testing in accordance with the requirements of IEC it is necessary to:
a) plug power supply cable from the network socket;
At the first switching on of the Oil tester, the following testing parame-
ters are set:
– main:
Number of breakdowns N, pcs.
Automatic stirring
Settling time after filling the cell Tsf, sec
Settling time after breakdown Тsb, sec
