If you want to install an add-on VGA card when you first use the mainboard...
1. Insert the add-on VGA card and connect the monitor cable on it.
2. Boot and Install the OS (includes the chipset driver) and add-on VGA card driver.
3. Install the on-board VGA driver.
4. Right-click the desktop. Choose Properties/Display Properties/Settings. Make sure that
"Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" is not checked.
If you want to install an add-on VGA card in the existing OS sometime later...
1. Remove the on-board VGA driver.
2. Turn off the system. Insert the add-on VGA card.
3. Connect the monitor cable to add-on VGA connector.
4. Boot and install the add-on VGA card driver
5. Install the on-board VGA driver.
6. Right-click the desktop. Choose Properties/Display Properties/Settings. Make sure that
"Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor" is not checked.
