Installation Mounting • The pump shall be installed in a dry place sheltered from outdoor weather but that allows the flow of air for its adequate ventilation (A). Ambient temperature shall not exceed 104 °F. • Use bolts to fix the pump into a concrete base to avoid vibration (B).
Installation Electric Connection • Call a professional electrician to set up the electric connections to the power source (G), meeting the mandatory directives. • The fixed installation shall incorporate a device that assure the omnipolar connection of energy. • Make sure the electric requirements described in this Manual and in the pump nameplate match the power supply capacity values.
Maintenance • The pump is maintenance free only if the following cautions are followed: • If there is risk of freezing empty the pump completely removing the drain cap (J). Remember to purge the pump before starting up again. • Check the foot valve (not included) regularly and clean it if necessary.
