Intended Use
The mechanical sweeper is intended for sweeping level and dry surfaces such
as asphalt, concrete, interlocking pavement tiles, etc.
Assembly (See Page 3)
Note: You will find the feeder brushes and the assembly material inside the
debris container.
 Mount the feed-in brushes with 3 screws each to the locating plates at the
bottom of the device.
 Put the bottom section of the push bar onto the push bar mounts and secure
with the two knurled nuts and the washers.
 Slide the top section of the push bar onto the bottom section of the push bar
and secure with two knurled nuts, two assembly screws and the toothed
washers.

Operation

When the mechanical sweeper is pushed, the feed-in brushes and the pick-up
brushes are powered by the rotation of the main wheels. Should the brushes
cease moving check the drive belts.
The rotating feeder brushes sweep the dirt to the centre. The rotating pick-up
brush conveys the dirt into the debris collector.
Emptying the Debris Container (See Page 3)
Lift the handle of the debris container upward and remove container from the
sweeper and dispose of the collected dirt properly.
After sweeping up metal, glass or sharp objects, wear heavy-duty work gloves
when emptying the debris container.
Cleaning
Wipe the housing with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as needed.
Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
Do not clean the device with aggressive chemicals or abrasives in order not
to damage the surfaces.
