Safety InstructIons

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer can not be hold responsible for the damage.
  • Do not use this appliance with a damaged cord or plug or when the appliance has malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. To avoid a hazard make sure that a damaged cord or plug will be replaced by an Competent qualified repair service(*). Do not repair this appliance yourself.
  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord can not become entangled.
  • The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.
  • The user must not leave the device unattended while it is connected to the supply.
  • This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
  • To protect children against the dangers of electrical appliances, please make sure that you never leave the appliance unattended. Therefore you have to select a storage place for the appliance where children are not able to grab it. Make sure that the cable is not hanging in a downward position.
  • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or a separate remote-control system.
  • To protect yourself against an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or appliance in the water or any other liquid.

* Competent qualified repair service: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this repair service.

Before the fIrst use

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the de vice. Voltage 220V-240V 50Hz)
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  • Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a minimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This device is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for outside use.

Use

  • Wash the basket in warm soapy water and dry it well before use. Clean the inside of the pan with a damp cloth and wipe it dry thoroughly. Ensure that all electrical parts remain completely dry.
  • Fill the appliance with the required amount of oil or fat. Ensure that the appliance is filled at least to the minimum level and not higher than the maximum level, as indicated on the inside of the fryer. For optimal results we advice to avoid mixing different types of oil.
  • Select the temperature with the temperature switch on the control panel for the food you wish to fry. Put the plug of the device into the outlet. The two control lights will turn on. As soon as the desired temperature has been reached the green control light goes off, the red control light will glow. Use the handle to lift the basket from the fryer.
  • Place the food to be fried in the basket. For the best results the food should be dry before being placed in the basket. Immerse the basket into the oil or fat slowly to prevent the oil from bubbling up too strongly. To ensure the oil stays at the correct temperature, the thermostat will switch on and off. The green control light will also go on and off.

Cleaning and maintenance

  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and wait for the appliance to cool down.
  • Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid. The device is not dishwasher proof.
  • Open the lid and pour out the oil or fat.
  • Clean the inside of bowl, the lid, the forks and the frying basket with hot water and some wahing-up liquid. Rinse them with fresh water and dry them thoroughly.
  • The forks and the basket can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.

Quarantee

  • This product is guaranteed for 24 months granted. Your warranty is valid if the product is used in accordance to the instructions and for the purpose for which it was created. In addition, the original purchase (invoice, sales slip or receipt) is to be submitted with the date of purchase, the name of the retailer and the item number of the product.
