11.0 Notes on EMC

• Medical electrical equipment is subject to special precautions with regard to EMC and must be installed according to the follow-
ing EMC notes.
• Portable and mobile RF communication facilities can influence medical electrical equipment.
• The use of other accessories, converters, and cables than stated may lead to an increased emission or a reduced interference
immunity of the equipment or system.
11.1 Guidelines and Manufacturer's Declaration ‒ Emissions
The Varioair 3 is designed for operation in the environment specified below. The customer or user of the Varioair 3 should ensure
that it is used in such an environment.
