Install your new
1. Grab and pull the cover in your freezer until it releases from the fixed air
filter housing.
2. Snap the new filter into the filter cover. The open face (carbon media) of the filter
should face outward.
3. Reattach the air filter cover to the air filter housing, aligning the cover to the
housing and firmly snapping it in place.
4. Press and hold REPLACE AIR FILTER on the appliance control display to reset it.
Change your filter every 6 months to ensure optimal freezer freshness.
FAQs
What does the alarm or "buzzer sound" mean?
An alarm or "buzzer sound" can mean your door is open, a power outage or HI-TEMP has been detected. In
most cases, simply acknowledge the alarm by resetting it. However, in the event of a HI-TEMP, it's a good idea
to make sure your freezer is level, and the door closes freely with a proper seal. Once you close your freezer
door, leave it closed so the freezer temperature can decrease and stabilize to the set temperature.
The freezer temperature is warmer or colder than preferred. What can I do?
Simply adjust the temperature by 1 or 2 degrees and allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabilize.
Is it normal to hear a popping or cracking sound when the compressor runs?
Yes, this is normal. These sounds can be caused by the freezer's internal components as they expand and
contract with temperature changes, or by the circulation of the refrigerant that's used to cool the freezer.
Why does my freezer seem to run continuously?
Your freezer is equipped with an energy-efficient variable speed compressor. It actually saves energy running
more frequently while maintaining even temperatures.
