CLEANING & CARE
Dust build-up in and around the freezer will lead to reduced cooling capabilities and
increased energy use.
Ensure the freezer is turned off and unplugged before cleaning.
Interior
The interior of the freezer should be cleaned regularly to avoid odour.
1. Combining two tablespoons of baking soda with a litre of warm water, use a soft
cloth or sponge to clean the inside of the freezer.
For header to reach areas (for example, gaps, corners), use a soft brush. If necessary,
other tools may be used to ensure no contaminants or bacteria accumulate in these
areas.
2. Using soapy water or diluted detergent, wipe the lid seal with a soft cloth to ensure
there is no debris.
3. Rinse with water and wipe clean.
4. After cleaning, open the lid and let it dry naturally before turning on the power.
Notes:
• Do not use soaps, detergents, and spray cleaners to clean the inside of your
freezer as these may create odours or contamination.
• Do not rinse the freezer directly with water or any other liquids.
Exterior
Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water or detergent, then wipe dry.
Notes:
• Do not use hard brushes, clean steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives (for
example, toothpastes), organic solvents (for example, alcohol, acetone),
boiling water, acid, or alkaline items as they may damage the freezer
surface and interior.
• Boiling water and organic solvents (for example, benzene) may deform or
damage plastic parts.
Water outlet
Unscrew the drain plug over the water outlet and drain regularly.
