Replacing the Cartridge

When the service life of the cartridge is to be expired or the purifi ed
water ability is reduced, please replace the cartridge with a new one.
There are 3 kinds of change standards. If one of the following conditions is met, please replace the cartridge.
The total run through
water volume reaches
6 000 L*.
* Purifi cation capacity (P. EN42)
 Inside the cartridge is a hollow fi ber membrane fi lter for removing
microscopic dirt. The cartridge's life will be shortened when the
Alkaline Ionizer is used with a quality of water containing many
clogging substances.
Check the display

Each time water is stopped, the replacement
guideline is displayed for 30 seconds.
e.g. Remaining approx. 5985 L
If the following screens are displayed,
the replacement timing is approaching.
Please prepare a new cartridge.
 If the guideline until cartridge replacement is
"Remaining approx. 150 L" or less,
the screen at left is displayed fi rst, and 10
seconds later the screen at right is displayed
with its background color changed to yellow.
If the display shows the following messages, replace the cartridge.
• : Cartridge replacement timing due to clogging.
• : Cartridge replacement guideline 6 000 L
is exceeded

Cartridge replacement standard
The fl ow of purifi ed water or
alkaline ion water suddenly decreases.
(The cartridge is blocked.)
Check the usage amount

