Removing and replacing a FRU

1050 DIMM

For access, remove this FRU:
v "1010 Battery pack" on page 64
Note: Loosen the screws 1 , but do not remove them.
The shape of the socket varies from model to model. In
some models, the shape might be slightly different from
the socket in this figure, but the removal procedures are
common for all models.
When installing: With the notched end of the DIMM

toward the socket, insert the DIMM into
the socket, and then press it firmly. Pivot
the DIMM until it snaps into place. Make
sure that the card is firmly fixed in the
slot and does not move easily.
