Connection to the mains supply.
WIRELESS
Wireless status indicator.
SELECT
Switch between speakers until the intended
speaker produces a sound during wireless setup.
STORE
Store speaker setting for a speaker and
move on to the next speaker. A long press
indicates the number of wirelessly connected
speakers in the PL status indicators.

For service only.

PL1-4
Inputs for connection of a video or audio system.
Each input has both a left and a right sound
channel, which is also indicated with a left/white
and right/red PL status indicator per input.
B&O INPUT (NO – YES)
Input signal switch: YES is for connection of a
Bang & Olufsen product, and NO is for connection
of a non-Bang & Olufsen product.
TOSLINK
Optical stereo input for connection of an audio
system. See the guide enclosed with your speaker
device for information about Toslink
The volume of the signal should be adjusted on the
non-Bang & Olufsen product.
INPUT (R – L)
Left and right line input for connection of an audio
system. The volume of the signal should be
adjusted on the non-Bang & Olufsen product.
SUB – 2.1 (OFF – ON)
Subwoofer switch: ON is for connection of a 2.1
setup with an audio system (2 speakers/1
subwoofer), and OFF is for connection of other
setups, such as a surround sound setup. This is the
case for both PL1, TOSLINK and INPUT (R – L).
The product status indicator is placed on the front
side of the transmitter.
Product status indicator:
– Red (solid): The indicator is solid red shortly
when the transmitter is connected to the mains,
switches off, or when it restarts after it has been
reset .
– Green (solid): The indicator is solid green
shortly when the transmitter switches on.
– Green (flashing): A software update is in
TM
connections.

– Orange (flashing): A hardware error has
occured. Disconnect the transmitter from the
mains and reconnect it. If the problem persists,
contact your Bang & Olufsen retailer.
Wireless status indicator:
– White (solid): Speakers are connected to the

to the transmitter.
– Green (flashing): Speakers are connecting to
the transmitter.
Product and wireless status indicators
simultaneously:
– Orange (solid): The wireless signal strength is
low.
– Orange (flashing): A network error has
occured. Reset the network connection. If the
problem persists, contact your Bang & Olufsen
retailer.
