Getting to know your Party Speaker
You'll be up and running in no time

Positioning the Party Speaker

It is important that you consider carefully in advance where your Party Speaker will be
situated and make sure that it is:
on a flat and stable surface.
in a well ventilated, cool, dry, clean place - away from direct sunlight, heat sources,
vibration, dust, moisture and/or cold. For proper ventilation, allow the following
minimum clearances around the product of:
Top: 10 cm (4 in)
Rear: 10 cm (4 in)
Sides: 10 cm (4 in)
at least 1 metre away from other electrical appliances to avoid interference.
where it will be in range of the connected or 'paired' bluetooth device (e.g. iPod/
iPhone/iPad/Android/other phone/computer, which is about 10 metres or less (33 feet
or less) in line of sight.
where the mains power socket and power plug can be reached easily and the power
cable is not a trip hazard
Never place your Party Speaker directly onto antique or polished surfaces.

Power connection

1. Connect the mains power lead into the socket on the back, near the bottom of the
Party Speaker and plug the power adaptor into the mains power wall socket and
switch on.
2. Press the power switch on the back of the Party speaker to On.
3. The product will switch on, 'Hi' will be displayed followed by '-bt-' . A bluetooth icon
will flash to indicate that your Party speaker is searching for Bluetooth devices.
