Reverse rotation lever
Important! The machine must come to a complete standstill before using the shuttle
lever; otherwise the machine may be damaged.
Use the shuttle lever to switch between right (normal) and left (reverse) rotation or
vice versa. If the shuttle lever is in the centre position, the trigger is locked and
cannot be pulled. Move the shuttle lever to the centre position before you put the
machine down to prevent unintentional starting.
Selecting the function mode
WARNING! Always set the ring to the desired function mark when
changing the function position. Operating the drill with the ring set
halfway between the function marks may damage the drill.
a) The drill has a ring for changing the function mode. Choose one of the three

Operation for work
Use only tool bits that can be fixed firmly in the drill chuck and for which the drill is
designed.
1. Drilling
Check that the drill is correctly positioned and secured before starting the
machine. Use well-sharpened drill bits. Select a lower speed at the beginning
of each drilling operation. For large holes, first drill with a smaller drill and then
enlarge the hole with a larger drill.
2. Drilling in wood
Use a wood drill for drilling into wood. Protect or secure the workpiece in a
suitable holder. Mark the positions of the holes to be drilled with a sharp tool or
nail. Do not exert excessive pressure on the workpiece with the machine.
