- Page 2 Notes Introduction Tire Linc® is a tire pressure and temperature monitoring system (TPMS). The TPMS display issues an alert when a unit's pressure or temperature falls out of the programmable range. The system is operated by a handheld RF controller included with the kit. This document covers the installation of the Tire Linc Tire Pressure and Temperature Mounting System (TPMS) repeater dock with additional instructions if a complete TPMS is provided by the OEM.
- Page 3 Repeater Dock Installation Locate a mounting area inside the unit that allows connection of the Tire Linc repeater dock (Fig. 1) to the unit's 7-way charge line. NOTE: The Tire Linc repeater dock MUST be mounted vertically. Repeater dock mounting MUST be located in the forward-most storage compartment in the unit that is free of any metal or obstructions that could interfere with the signal and hinder reception.
