checking your microwave

Check your microwave after unpacking.
For your safety, the microwave stops
if the door is opened during cooking.
1. Open the door.
GB
Put the turntable ring inside the oven and place the glass
turntable on top of the ring. The turntable is shaped to sit
securely on the spindle.
You must always use the glass turntable and turntable ring
whenever you use the microwave.
Place a cup of water on the glass turntable. Make sure the
cup is microwave-safe - it should not have any decorative
metal trim.
2. Close the oven door.
3. Turn the Power Control (1) dial to the desired power
settings.
4. Turn the Timer (2) dial half way between 0 and 2 to start a
simple microwave cooking cycle that allows you to check the
operation of the microwave oven.
Smoke and smell may emit during first time use, this is not a fault and will disappear after a
few uses.
