Removing the Palm Rest

 
CAUTION:
 
1. Follow the instructions in
 
2. Remove the base cover (see
 
3. Remove the eight screws from the bottom of the computer.
 
4. Remove all Mini-Cards (see
 
5. Press and remove any ExpressCard or media card.
 
6. Remove the display assembly (see
 
7. Remove the eight screws on the palm rest.
 
8. Remove the touch pad, fingerprint reader, and speaker connectors from the system board.
NOTICE:
move along the edge, working away from the area of resistance, until the palm rest is free.
