OPERATION

fAST INSTALLATION OPERATION

Connect this unit and other equipments related according to "BASIC CONNECTION" before any
operation. This receiver supports connection of USB device and flash card. User can choose
any connection method: to connect either flash card or USB device, or both the two or neither.
Note: User should pay much attention to the penetration orientation of USB device or flash card
when connecting them.
Once the receiver is powered on, there appears a window telling "Database Empty":
a) Press MENU button to open the Main Menu window, then select submenu Digital TV
and enter it with OK button pressed. Use UP/ DOWN button to select Factory Default setup,
press OK before entering default password "0000" to open the setup window. The system
will ask "Do you want to perform factory default? User can choose Yes to go on or No to exit
from current interface.
Note: When this receiver is used for the first time or has just been updated
with the software, such step of operation must be performed.
b) Click Yes to perform restore factory default settings. Then comes the Initial Installation menu
where OSD Language or Area are supposed to set. Press OK button to confirm and start
the installation.
c) As soon as the installation process is 100 percent completed, the system will update
the database with newly found data, and shift automatically to the first channel to start.
Press EXIT button to leave the menu system.
d) To preview the channels, use OK button to bring up Quick Select window which lists the
TV channel or radio channels if available with more choices. Here the channels can be
previewed in different favorite groups once they have been set. Use UP/ DOWN button to
select any channel before pressing OK to start viewing it.

MAIN MENU

Press MENU button to open the Main Menu which includes 7 submenus:
• Digital TV
• Movie
• Music
• Photo
• Game
• Disk Manager
• Partition- Format
Press UP/ DOWN button to select a menu item, then OK button to confirm, or press LEFT/
RIGHT button to change the option, or press EXIT to leave for the upper-level menu.
Note:
1) Certain submenu should be operated according to the navigation guide on the screen;
) Colored buttons refer to different function operations in different menus.
