Instructions for use & care
Care:
• Close the velcro straps before laundering
• To protect the garment, place in a mesh laundry bag for washing
• Machine wash on gentle cycle using a mild detergent
• DO NOT use bleach or fabric softeners
• Tumble dry on low heat setting. Air drying is recommended to preserve the life of the garment
• Your Compreboot Plus device should be washed as often as needed
Care & Cautions:
Please read these instructions carefully and consult your medical professional
if you have any health concerns. Your SIGVARIS GROUP compression garment
should be comfortable and never hurt. If you experience any pain or discomfort,
or visible marks on the skin indicative of skin reactions or constriction,
immediately remove the garment and consult your physician.
Application:
1. Be sure the velcro tabs are open
2. With the garment tag at the back of the ankle and facing out, place your heel in
the open heel space
3. Close the garment around the foot
4. Insert the straps into the D-ring and pull to create a snug, comfortable fit.
5. Readjust the straps as needed to ensure proper compression is maintained.
6. The straps may be repositioned on the side of the garment to ensure a custom fit
Use:
While the Compreboot Plus Foot is suitable for day and night time wear, it should
be removed once a day to allow for skin hygiene and wound care. It should then
be reapplied according to the donning instructions. Frequency of garment
removal for skin checks, hygiene, and/or wound care may vary according to each
individual's needs and the medical professional's recommendations. Sigvaris
recommends wearing a liner with each compression device.
