  • Page 3 On Keyspan adapters that have multiple serial ports, the Keyspan software will assign a COM port number to each serial port on the Keyspan adapter. In the above example, the Keyspan adapter will get COM3 for the 1st serial port, try to assign COM4 to 2nd serial port, etc., etc.
