Powering the MTP700 On/Off

To power On, turn the On/Off-Volume knob clockwise. Your
MTP700 performs a self-check and registration routine. After
successful registration, the MTP700 is in service.
To power Off, turn the On/Off-Volume knob counter-clockwise until
you hear a click. You will hear an audible beep and the
Powering Off message is displayed.

Powering On with Transmit Inhibit Active

The TXI Mode remains active at power On.
You will be asked whether to leave the TXI Mode On or not.
Ensure you have left the restricted area before deactivating Transmit Inhibit.

Warning
Press the Yes soft key to deactivate the TXI Mode. If the MTP700
was previously used in Trunked Mode (TMO), it will register to the
network. If the MTP700 was previously used in Direct Mode it will
remain in Direct Mode.
Press No in Trunked Mode and the MTP700 powers down; press
No in DMO mode and you remain in DMO with TXI selected.

Unlocking the MTP700

Your MTP700 may be locked at power up.
To unlock the MTP700 after powering on, enter the code at the
prompt. The MTP700 enters the default home mode.
