4. USE

The machine has been designed for use by a single operator. It must not be used by two operators at the
same time.

4.1 STARTING THE MACHINE.

ATTENTION! Before starting the machine for the first time, it is necessary to do the following:
 Check mechanical adjustments and make sure they are properly secured.
 Check the level of engine oil. Fill the fuel tank with unleaded petrol.
 Adjust handle to a suitable height for movement.
 Select and attach the adequate disc for the required cut.
 Correctly place the cutting guide.
 Start the engine by strictly following the instructions provided by the engine manufacturer and ensure
that the disc, at the time of starting, does not contact the cutting surface.
 Ensure that all the machine components are correctly installed.
 Open the water cock and ensure that sufficient water flows.
ATTENTION!
DO NOT START THE MACHINE UNLESS ALL GUARDS AND PROTECTIONS ARE CORRECTLY IN
PLACE!
Besides, in order to prevent accidents, the following safety measures must be taken:
The working area must remain clean and clear at all times.
Make sure that the machine is correctly levelled and settled.
Scrupulously follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the engine and at the time of starting the
machine always ensure that the disc does not contact the cutting surface.
Always operate with the disc guard on.
