    INTRODUCTION This is a guide for the configuration and management of Taurus wireless systems through the keyboard - display interface system present on FI750/RF/W2W network devices. Another way to configure Taurus systems is through the TauREX software configuration tool; for the TauREX software and its user guide refer to your system supplier.

  • Page 7 SETTING THE EXPANDER PARAMETERS - CENTRAL AND EXPANSION NODES Setting the expander parameters permits you to specifically characterize the network device (FI750/RF/W2W, FI750/RF/CWE, FI750/RF/WE) you are Central nodes (FI750/RF/W2W, FI750/RF/CWE) ARE indicated as expanders. The term expander is NOT limited to FI750/RF/WE. In Taurus wireless systems, central node’s sequential number is always 1.

These actions will be notified to you from the onboard interface, nevertheless some words will be spent here: - if you change certain system settings, all expanders need a programming action to be performed on each of them.

  • Page 26 SUBSTITUTION ATTEMPT Substitution attempt of a child device linked to the translator: it happens when there is a device that communicates with the FI750/RF/W2W using the same RF address of another device correctly linked. • The device that caused the substitution attempt is disabled by the FI750/RF/W2W and blinks amber two times and repeats the blinking periodically.
