Congratulations! You have just acquired the exceptional air humidifier
KARL / KARL BIG. It will give you great pleasure and improve the indoor air
for you.
As with all domestic electrical appliances, particular care is needed with
this model also, in order to avoid injury, fire damage or damage to the appli-
ance. Please study these operating instructions carefully before using the
appliance for the first time and follow the safety advice on the appliance
itself.
Description of the appliance
The appliance consists of the following main components:
1. Cable with power adapter
2. Power adapter connection
3. Upper part of air humidifier with motor
4. Lower part of air humidifier (water container)
5. On/Off button
6. Button for the selection of the desired humidity
(hygrostat: 40 – 55 % and continuous operation "CO")
7. Button for selecting humidification levels: 1,2,3, Turbo
8. Button for auto mode
9. Button for LED dimmer (LEDs normal, dimmed or off)
10. Button for Wi-Fi
11. LED display for «container empty»
12. Reset button for the filter change reminder function
13. Opening for refilling while in operation
14. Air outlet opening (Caution: no water may enter this opening!)
15. Humidifier filters (Karl 2 pcs. / Karl big 4 pcs.)
16. Midi mark (half full)

How your product works
Your humidifier works on the natural principle of evaporation. A fan passes
the dry indoor air through the humidifier filters, which are soaked with wa-
ter. The air thereby only absorbs as much moisture as it needs at the current
temperature.

Please read through the operating instructions carefully before you use the
appliance for the first time and keep them safely for later reference; if nec-
essary pass them on to the next owner.
