MAINTENANCE
4. Wipe the inside of the air cleaner housing with a clean, dry cloth.
5. Replace the air filter element inside the air cleaner housing, and
then re-install the cover.
6. Open the evacuator valve (d) once a week under ordinary
operating conditions, or daily if the light tower is being used in a
dusty place. This will clean large particles of dust and dirt from
the air cleaner.

3.6 Changing Engine Oil

When Change the engine oil every 200 hours.
Prerequisites
Warm engine
Plastic sheet and container of suitable size to collect drained oil
Replacement oil (see Technical Data for oil quantity and type)
Note: In the interests of environmental protection, place a plastic
sheet and a container under the machine to collect any liquid which
drains off. Dispose of this liquid in accordance with environmental
protection legislation.
Procedure Follow the procedure below to change the engine oil.
1. Locate the oil drain hose (a) at the base of the engine and feed it
through the opening at the rear of the light tower cabinet.
2. Remove the cap from the oil drain hose.
3. Allow the oil to drain into a suitable container.
4. Replace the cap on the oil drain hose. Return the hose to its
stored location.
5. Fill the engine crankcase through one of the oil filler plugs to the
suitable mark on the dipstick. See Technical Data for oil
quantity and type.
6. Reinstall the oil filler plug.

3.7 Maintaining the Fuel/Water Separator

Empty the separator water bowl as needed.
When
Change the separator element each time the fuel filter is changed
approximately every 250 hours of operation.

Container of suitable size to drain water from the separator
element
Replacement separator element
Emptying the
Separator bowl
Follow the procedure below to empty the separator bowl
Open the water bowl drain

Allow the water to drain into a suitable container.
