Do not put any kind of tool inside the fan to clear debris while the fan is running. Damage to the equipment will result. Rotating Fan Always turn off and lock out all power sources before servicing equipment. Page 8: Chapter 2 Installation Instructions
1. Connect to fan according to instructions included with the Var-O-Matic. 2. Run fan at “Full On” for no less than 10 minutes to warm fan motor to operating temperature. 3. Connect a multi meter to L1 output from the Var-O-Matic and L2 supplying the fan. (See Figure 2A.) Remove ALL electrical power before installation/wiring. - Page 9 2. Installation Instructions 4. Set the Var-O-Matic toggle switch to variable and the speed control to 10. 5. Adjust the “Span” potentiometer to recommended setting while observing multi meter. (See Figure 2B.) a.
