Kanguru Mini Drive

Formatting the Drive:

The Kanguru Mini Drive is formatted as FAT by default. You can format the drive
as FAT, FAT32, Mac OS Extended, or Mac OS Standard. To format the Mini
drive, use the system format utilities on PC or Mac.
IF YOU ARE ONLY USING THE DRIVE ON A MAC OS THEN FORMAT THE
DRIVE AS MAC OS EXTENDED TO ACHIEVE THE BEST TRANSFER RATES!
NOTE:
Formatting the drive will erase all data currently on the drive. Save any
information you want to keep from the drive to your computer's hard drive before
formatting. If you plan to use the drive on both PC's and Mac's then you must
use the FAT or FAT32 file system as a PC will not recognize a Mac OS Extended
file system.

General Guidelines:

Please review the following guidelines to ensure optimal and reliable
performance for your Kanguru Mini Drive drive.
In order to reach the full USB2.0 transfer speeds your computer must
have USB2.0 ports. Otherwise, you will only reach USB1.1 transfer
speeds for this device.
You CAN connect or disconnect the drive while the computer is on.
You CAN use multiple Kanguru Mini Drives on the same computer.
You CAN use the included docking station to provide an easy-to-reach
connection for your drive.
Do NOT remove the drive during data transfer.
A Mac OS formatted drive will not work with PCs.
