INSTALLATION STEP 2 Install the Header Bracket You can attach the header bracket either to the wall above Wall Mounting Holes the garage door, or to the ceiling. INSTALLATION STEP 3 Attach the T-Rail to the Header Bracket Header Wall • Position the opener on the garage floor below the header bracket. Use packing material as a protective Header Bracket base. Chain Pulley NOTE: If the door spring is in the way you’ll need help. Bracket Have someone hold the opener securely on a temporary support to allow the rail to clear the spring.
INSTALLATION STEP 4 Position the Opener To prevent damage to garage door, rest garage door opener rail on 38 mm board placed on top section of door. Follow instructions which apply to your door type as illustrated. SECTIONAL DOOR OR ONE-PIECE DOOR WITH TRACK A 38 mm board is convenient for setting an ideal door-to- T-rail distance.
