5. MECHA ASSY Proceeding : TOP COVER → FRONT PANEL ASSY → MECHA ASSY (1) Remove the screws. (2) Laser short-circuit in Pick-up of CD MECHANISM ASS'Y, then disconnect the connector wires and FFC cable. Be sure to wear a grounding band. Disconnect the connector wire.

ABOUT REPLACE THE MICROPROCESSOR WITH A NEW ONE When replaced of the U-PRO (Microprocessor) or the Flash ROM, confirm contents of the following. After PWB Name Ref.
