Albalá Ingenieros | Manual SEM2000C01 • The SEM2000C01 is used with optic transmitter modules that contain laser diodes. These modules are CLASS 1 LASER products. Due to its features these devices are inherently safe. However, exercise CAUTION as there is invisible laser radiation in the fiber optic connectors.

No adjustments are necessary to use synchronous Ethernet functionality. The SEM2000C01 periodically sends a Synchronization Status Message (SSM) to all the devices connected to it as per the ITU-T G.8264 standard. The SEM2000C01 automatically chooses which clock to use as a reference, giving priority to the 10 MHz signal coming from a GNSS receiver module installed in the same mounting frame, such as the GPS2001C01.
