Special maintenance requirements
Dust fi lter/Combination fi lter
The dust fi lter for heating/ventilation, rear-
compartment air conditioning or the air
conditioning combination fi lter is replaced

during the maintenance service. These will
also be replaced before a service is due if a
lot of dust has accumulated or if air recir-
culation mode is frequently used.

Diesel particle fi lter
The loading of the diesel particle fi lter
has to be checked for the fi rst time at
144,000 kilometres.
If the loading is still under the threshold
at 144,000 kilometres, the loading of the
diesel particle fi lter must be rechecked at
every Oil service Plus/Maintenance service.
If the loading exceeds the threshold, then
the diesel particle fi lter must be replaced.
Once the new diesel particle fi lter has been
fi tted, the test cycle begins again after
144,000 kilometres.
