Reset
Before the DUT is packaged, the unit should be reset to factory defaults. This resets the
EEPROM persistent memory.
Items Required
1 ME2 Assembled Unit (DUT) which has PASSED Final Assembly QC
1 P3 type Alesis Power Supply
Reset
1)
Press the UP and DOWN buttons on the DUT and hold these buttons during Step
2. When started in this manner, the unit will RESET.

Plug the P3 type Alesis Power Supply into a power source and the barrel jack
into the DUT Power In jack.
Verify that the front panel LEDs show normal power up message, "DEQ"
on the left side and "230" on the right side. After this message "RESET"
should display briefly on the left side. After "RESET" shows, the DUT
should go into normal RUN mode.
Problems with this inspection indicates that the unit has not RESET.
Unplug the unit and repeat steps 1 and 2.

Unplug the power supply to the DUT. The unit is now ready for packaging.
