    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 Congratulations! By purchasing the SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 mini chopper, hereinafter referred to as mini chopper, you have opted for a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the mini chopper before using it for the first time and read these operating instructions carefully.

  • Page 8 SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 AC voltage Protection class II Foreseeable misuse • The mini chopper must not be used to chop or mince hot foodstuffs or those which are still cooking. • The mini chopper must not be used to chop bones or frozen foodstuffs (exceptions: ice cubes and frozen berries).
  • Page 9 SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 Risk of injury • Disconnect the mini chopper from the mains network if you wish to replace the blade (7) or the whisk attachment (3). There is a risk of injury! • Do not remove the motor block (2) until the blade (7) has stopped.

The product is suitable for both 50 and 60 Hz supplies. • Only plug in the mini chopper to a power socket, which is accordingly installed and easily accessible, whose mains voltage corresponds with the rating plate specifications.

    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 6. Before initial use Remove the SMZ 260 J1 mini chopper and all accessories from the packaging and check the completeness of the delivery. Remove the packaging material and keep it away from children. Dispose of it in an environmentally-friendly manner.

    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1  Place the lid (4) onto the bowl (6). Ensure that the two plastic lugs on the lid (4) engage with the recesses provided for them on the edge of the bowl. Turn the lid (4) in a clockwise direction until it snaps into place.

    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 7.2 Whipping cream You can also use the mini chopper to whip cream. For this purpose, you need the whisk attachment (3) provided.  Position the bowl (6) onto the plastic appliance base (9).  Slide the whisk attachment (3) onto the blade holder (5) until it locks into place.

    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 To whip cream optimally, it should be sufficiently cooled (fridge temperature). We recommend whipping cream at the normal speed. For 100 ml of cream we recommend a whipping time of approx. 30 seconds and for 200 ml approx. 30–40 seconds.

    SilverCrest SMZ 260 J1 7.2 Sahne schlagen Sie können mit dem Multizerkleinerer auch Sahne schlagen. Hierzu benötigen Sie die mitgelieferte Emulgierscheibe (3).  Setzen Sie die Schüssel (6) in den Kunststoff-Standfuß (9).  Schieben Sie die Emulgierscheibe (3) so weit auf den Messerhalter (5), bis diese einrastet.

Sahne sollte nur im gut gekühlten Zustand (Kühlschranktemperatur) geschlagen werden, um ein gutes Ergebnis zu erhalten. Wir empfehlen, Sahne bei normaler Geschwindigkeit zu schlagen.
