Adjusting the Image Quality

Image Enhancement Options

You can adjust the following items in the Image Enhancement menu.
Color mode
Description
4K Enhancement
When set to On, projects 4K images at the optimal
resolution.

Description
Image Preset Mode
Selects the settings prepared in advance as the settings
for Noise Reduction, MPEG Noise Reduction, and
Detail Enhancement.
Noise Reduction
Smooths out rough images.
MPEG Noise Reduction
Reduces dot and block noise that occurs in outlines
when projecting MPEG movies.
Detail Enhancement
Enhances the contrast in an image to create a more
emphatic texture and material feel.
• Noise Reduction and MPEG Noise Reduction are available when:
• Image Processing is set to Fine.

s Signal > Advanced > Image Processing
• Image Preset Mode is set to any option other than Off.
• 4K signals are not being input.
• 21:9 signals (2560 × 1080) are not being input.
• Detail Enhancement is available when Image Preset Mode is set to
any option other than Off.

Setting Frame Interpolation

You can use the projector's Frame Interpolation feature to smooth fast-
moving video by comparing consecutive image frames and inserting an
intermediate image frame between them.
