AIR CLEANER
(Refer to the maintenance precautions on
page 46 ).
The air cleaner should be serviced at
regular intervals (page 40 ). Service more
frequently when riding in unusually wet
or dusty areas .
1. Remove the left side cover (1).
2. Remove the air cleaner cover screws (2)
and the cover (3).

3. Release the hooks (4) and remove the
air cleaner (5).
4. Discard the air cleaner and reinstall a
new one.
Use the Honda genuine air cleaner or an
equivalent ~ir cleaner specified for your
model. Usmg the wrong Honda air
cleaner or a non-Honda air cleaner
which is not of equivalent quality may
cause premature engine wear or
performance problems .
5. Install the removed parts in the reverse
order of disassembly.
