Display Area
Description
Flashes while the personal station is trying to establish
a communication with a base station. Displays steady
once a communication channel is established and dur-
ing a call. Does not display when the PS6 is idle.
Indicates that the speaker is on.
Shows the signal strength. Three bars indicate the
strongest signal. Calls may not be sent or received in
weak signal areas.
Indicates that your PS6 Portable Station is in Personal
Ringing mode and the ringer is turned off. When "S" is
displayed, your PS6 will not ring when a new call is
received.
Indicates that the PS6 Vibrate Alert feature is active.
When "V" is displayed your PS6 will vibrate when a
new call is received.
Indicates that the PS6 Alarm Clock feature is set.
Indicates that additional display information may be
viewed or selected by pressing an up or down scroll
key.
Indicates that you are accessing an Omegatrek or
ADIX system feature using the Feature Key.
Shows the level of battery charge. Two bars shows a
full charge. When you see only the outline of the Bat-
tery icon, it is time to recharge the battery. This indica-
tor flashes when there is less than one minute of talk
time remaining.
Indicates that you have a message waiting or that Sta-
tion Forwarding is active on your PS6 portable station.
Indicates that "Common Keys" are available to use.
(Common Keys must be programmed on your PS6 by
your Iwatsu Authorized Distributor. If your PS6 does not
use Common Keys, this indication will never appear.)
View up to three lines (12 characters per line) of display
information.
