If you have a pacemaker keep the phone at least a 20cm distance from the place it is located. This phone may cause interference to some hearing aids and other electronic devices. Avoid all heat sources, ovens or other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat or have hot surfaces.

Be careful when handling the battery. The lithium-ion battery can be put into use immediately after being unpacked. Use only the Opel Mobile battery that came with the device. We recommend charging the battery as soon as possible once the phone has been switched on.

Quick Setup Guide Unpack all the contents out of the packaging and have your SIM card ready to insert into the phone. This phone requires a Nano size SIM card, it is the smallest of the 3 SIM card sizes available. If you don’t have a nano SIM card, contact your network provider.

Remove the battery from the phone by lifting from the bottom and pulling out. (Skip this step if the battery is not inserted) First slide the SIM tray door to the left to open it and put a nano SIM card in, and then slide the SIM tray door to the right to lock it.

If you wish to use an optional microSD memory card for extra phone storage, insert it into the memory card slot. First slide the memory card tray door to the right to open it and put a memory card in, and then slide the SIM tray door to the left to lock it.

Replace the battery cover by sliding and pushing your fingers across the edges of the battery cover to ensure it has completely clicked back into place. Charge the phone by plugging in the microUSB cable into the phone’s charging port located at the bottom of the phone. Please note: Charge the phone for at least 3 hours prior to use, to ensure long battery life.
Turn the phone on for the first time After charging, turn the phone on by holding down the power button for 5 seconds. The phone will begin to boot, once finished booting, your phone is ready to be used. If your SIM card is inserted and active, the time and date will be automatically set based on your location.
Wake up and unlock the screen If you have turned on “Auto keypad lock” under Settings – Display, the keypad will be locked and the screen will be off after the timeout value. Quick User Guide Answer a call To answer an incoming call, simply press the green “Answer” key. Reject and silence a call To reject an incoming call, you can press the red Hang up/Power key.

En, en and EN are predictive text modes with capital first letter, small letters or all capitals, respectively (see predictive text below).

Predictive text (En/en/EN modes) Predictive text is a smart way to type messages. This feature can make typing easier by suggesting words based on what you are typing. To use predictive text, press the “Hash” # key and select “En, en or EN”, then use the keypad to type the word without pressing the same key multiple times.

Main Interface Main Menu From the main menu you will be able to access Messages, Contacts, Call Logs, Sound Profiles, Clock, Tools, Settings and SOS. You can press the red Hang up/Power key to go back to the home screen.

Notifications – Missed Calls and Unread Messages Notifications will be displayed on the front cover of the phone and/or displayed on the main screen. You can review the details of the missed call or messages via the main menu and select the item for more information.

Timer Use the keypad number, type the time you wish to count down. For example, to do 1 Minute, type in 0, 0, 0, 1. Then press “OK” key to start the timer and the Left Selection key to stop it completely. An alarm will sound once the time is up.

SOS feature is designed for people who need to contact their family or close friends by just pressing the SOS button on the back on the phone 3 times, in case there is an emergency. When the SOS is activated, it will send a text message to all your saved emergency contacts.

Add or edit an emergency contact Select SOS Contacts to add up to five contact numbers by pressing Options, then Edit or Import contacts. You can either type in a phone number manually or select an existing contact from your phonebook.

Blacklist Blacklist can block unwanted phone numbers from being able to call or message you. Press the “OK” key on Blacklist. It will then show you all the numbers and contacts that are listed in blacklist.

Call settings Here you can setup Dual-SIM, call forwarding, call waiting, call barring, caller ID and more. Dual-SIM – When using two SIM cards at the same time, use this menu to configure the Dual-SIM settings, e.g. enable or disable SIM, enable or disable flight mode, reply call or message by the original SIM.

Call forwarding – Within call forwarding you can select to always forward calls, forward when busy, forward when unanswered and forward when unreachable. Simply select the options you wish to use and turn them on. You can then choose which number you wish callers to be forwarded to.

Troubleshooting and support If you are experiencing difficulties with your phone, please through following troubleshoots: The phone will not power on Ensure the battery is inserted correctly. Ensure you are pressing and holding the power button for at least 5 seconds. Ensure you have charged the phone for at least 10 minutes.

Ensure you have inserted the SIM card correctly and are using the correct size SIM card. Follow instructions in the quick set up guide for installing the SIM Card. Your SIM card may be damaged or dirty, ensure you replace your SIM with your network provider if this error occurs.

Your signal strength may be weak. Check your signal strength and contact your network provider. Can’t hear anyone on the call Ensure your call volume is adjusted to your requirements. Using the volume keys on the right side of the phone. Ensure you have sufficient signal strength.
