NOTE: It is critical the exterior side of each guide channel be positioned in the Rolscreen assembly end cap as shown and the bottom of each guide touch the sill stop and is pressed firmly against the jamb stops.

Installing the Screen (continued): Operating a retractable screen may result in a static discharge. A static discharge in the CAUTION presence of a flammable substance such as aerosol lubricant could cause ignition. To avoid injury and/or property damage, do not use any flammable substance on a retractable screen. E.

Adjusting Roller Tension (continued): B. Make sure the screen is in the lowered/ closed position. C. Locate the gear on the left side of the screen cartridge. Use a flat blade screwdriver to push the gear so it clicks, each click equals 1/8 of a turn of tension addition, (8 clicks = 1 turn).

Pull the bottom of the guide toward the center of the window, then pull it down to release it from the end cap. F. Remove the Rolscreen assembly by removing the attachment screws. G. Locate the slotted end of the screen assembly; to set the tensions - use a flat blade screwdriver to turn the spring assembly in the direction of the arrows.
