Carburettor adjustment
When carburettor adjustment is completed, cutter blade should not move at idle, otherwise serious personal injury may
result.
When starting, idle speed adjuster (T) should be adjusted not to move the cutter blade.
When there is some trouble with the carburettor, contact your dealer.

Maintenance and care

Every unit is test run at the factory and the carburettor is fine
tuned for maximum performance.
Before adjusting carburettor, clean or replace air filter, start en-
gine and run several minutes to bring it to operating temperature.

Idle Speed Adjustment.
Start engine and turn idle speed adjustment screw (T) clock-
wise until the blades begin to move, then turn the screw (T)
anticlockwise until the blades stop moving. Turn screw (T)
anticlockwise an additional 1/2 turn.

Accelerate to full throttle for 2 to 3 seconds to clear excess
fuel from engine then return to idle. Accelerate to full throttle
to check for smooth transition from idle to full throttle.

Remove dirt and debris from cylinder fins.
2.
Remove debris around the cooling air intake.
Never operate the unit with a damage or missing silenc-
er or spark arrester. Operating with a missing or dam-
aged spark arrester is a fire hazard, and could also
damage your hearing.
Carbon deposits in silencer will cause a drop in engine output
and overheating. Spark arrestor screen must be checked pe-
riodically. Clean deposits from silencer.
IMPORTANT
Do not remove the silencer cover. If necessary, Please consult
your dealer.
