3.0 rough framing

WARNING

• *LV MODELS (w/ DHM) ONLY: The rear standoffs MUST be fl attened to reduce the framing depth from 20 1/8" to 18".
• All discharge air opening(s) / grill(s) MUST be 6' away from any sprinkler systems.
• All wiring should be done by a qualifi ed electrician and shall be in compliance with local codes. In the absence of local codes,
use the current CSA22.1 Canadian Electric Code in Canada or the current National Electric Code ANSI/NFPA NO. 70 in the
United States.
• Refer to appliance manual for minimum clearances to combustible enclosures.
• The bottom stud MUST be vertical on any discharge opening.
Before framing your appliance or deciding on fi nal location, determine vent requirements. Also, see appliance manual for vent
shield installation, nailing tabs installation, electrical installation, gas installation, etc.
After rough framing, place the appliance in its fi nal position.

• Enclosure top MUST be installed 3" from discharge opening. Enclosure ceiling required if the discharge
opening is more than 3" from the enclosure top.
