Rev A1 SECTION 2 ‐ How to use the edit function (name of components, recipes, unloading points, unloading programs, feeding processes) 1) Press ENTER to move the cursor down to the virtual keyboard. 2) To change the type of characters press . Press ↓↑→← to move the cursor and press ENTER to select the character. 3) Press to move the cursor out of the virtual keyboard or to delete a selected character. 4) Press to save changes. 5) Press to exit without saving. SECTION 3 ‐ How to create components and recipes Before start working, create components and recipes. NOTE: If you are working with DTM, components and recipes can be created directly on PC then imported to the indicator. Rev A1 SECTION 5 ‐ How to tare the scale Whether you are in partial or total weighing mode, you need to zero the system before start loading 1) Press for 3 seconds until you see the message “Settings OK!” The weight visualized on the scale is 0. From that moment, you can start loading. SECTION 6 ‐ How to run a recipe 1) With the scale on Total weight mode, press 2) , select the recipe using the ↑↓ and press ENTER. 2) Confirm/modify number of animal or total weight to load. This value can be modified using ↑↓. Press ENTER to confirm. 3) From that moment, the first component to 3) load will appear on the display. SECTION 8 ‐ How to export data If you are working with the DTM, you need to transfer data to the software. You need a USB key (or Memory Card, depending on the type of your indicator) 1) USB key: data are stored in the internal memory of the indicator. Plug the USB key to the indicator, press and select USB KEY. Press ENTER to confirm data export. 1) NOTE: you can store up to 700 executions in the internal memory of DG500. Rules Rev A1 WARNINGS The power cable has to be connected directly to the battery or to a regulated power source. If this is not the case DG does not respond to any eventual damage to the indicator. Disconnect the power cable from the indicator when the battery of the machine is being charged. If this is not the case DG does not respond to any eventual damage to the indicator. Disconnect all cables from the indicator before performing welding operations on the machine. If this is not the case DG does not respond to any eventual damage to the indicator. For correct functioning, regularly check that the battery tension level remains over 10.5 Volt. Before cleansing the feed mixer with high‐pressure washer, protect the indicator from possible water seepage. Furthermore, be very careful to not expose sensors, junction box, acoustic alarm, cables or other accessories to direct water jets. If the indicator needs to be cleansed, use a soft, damp, lint‐free cloth. Never use sprays, solvents, abrasives, sharp or pointed objects that could damage the indicator. ENVIRONMENT: Disposal Rules This marking on the product or on its packaging means that this product can not be disposed with normal household waste.
