1.3 Panel Installation and Cable Routing 1.3.1 Order of Installation When installing fiber patch panels into the HYP-3048, care must be taken to ensure the installation goes as smoothly as possible. We recommend making sure all rack items and accessories are installed before beginning the installation of panels. -

1.3.2 C2X Installation The HYP-3048 is designed to be used with the C2X Line of fiber patch panels. When the panels are received, the 19” mounting bracket will be uninstalled. For use in the HyperX frame, it is recommended to install the mounting bracket in the middle front-to-back position, as shown in the below figure. - Page 8 Below is the install sheet for the C2X Clamps. 1.3.4 Cable Routing In general, the HYP-3048 works best for routing cable upwards to overhead cable management. When routing jumpers in the front of the rack, all cables should be routed downwards and then wrap around the spool, as shown below. - Page 12 Figure 11 - Jumpers Routed upwards on rear of panel The HYP-3048 also includes integrated front-to-rear routing. The bottom center of the rack includes a covered-trough, which can route fibers to the rear while the included brush strip limits air-flow.
