Model No. SE-7576 Introduction The PASCO SE-7576 SpeedCheckR is designed to measure the speed of an object with a minimum of setup time. In addition, the speed measurement is determined without the need to enter the width of the object. All components of the SpeedCheckR include magnetic mounting for a wide variety of configurations.
The lasers used in the SpeedCheckR 7500 are Class 2 lasers with emission levels similar to commonly available laser pointers found throughout the country.
Do not for any reason remove these stickers. Replacement stickers may be ordered from TechnaSport, LLC.The SpeedCheckR 7500 complies with 21 CFR 1040.10 and 1040 and other applicable FDA light- emission requirements.

Model No. SE-7576 3. Place the Receiver on one of the mounts and the Laser Unit on the other. 4. Position the Receiver and Laser Unit on either side of the object to be measured. 5. Align the lasers from the Laser Unit so they shine straight upon the optical detectors on the Receiver.
Model No. SE-7576 The Receiver features two delay settings: Short Delay - Useful for small, fast moving objects (baseball bat, pendulum, etc) Long Delay - Useful for large, slow objects (people walking, dynamics cart, etc) The SpeedCheckR Stand (SE-7577) can be purchased separately to allow additional mounting options for experiments involving centripetal force (see below), baseball bat speed, etc...
Model No. SE-7576 Leg Speed (Soccer) The speed of a soccer player's leg as the ball is kicked can be measured using the following setup pictured. 1. Place the Receiver and Laser Unit no more than 2 meters apart. 2. The Laser Unit may need to be offset to one side so the plant foot (left foot in the photo) does not block the lasers.

Model No. SE-7576 1. Place the Laser Unit and Receiver on rod stands, one on either side of the track. 2. Rotate the lasers such that the cart passes straight through them (see photo below). 3. Rotate the Receiver to align the lasers with the optical detectors. 4.
Model No. SE-7576 Centripetal Force The SpeedCheckR can measure the speed of a stopper as it is swung in a circular path. The speed, mass and radius can then be used to determine the centripetal force on the stopper using the following equation: ---------- 1.
Model No. SE-7576 Speed of a Pendulum The SpeedCheckR can measure the speed of a pendulum at the bottom of its path. 1. Place the Laser Unit and Receiver on rod stands, one on either side of the pendulum. 2. Rotate the lasers such that the string passes straight through them. 3.
