TO ANSWER A CALL

If caller ID service is subscribed from your local phone company, the handset will
display the caller's number or name and number between the first and second ring.
Look at the information on the display and if it is a call you want to answer, lift the
handset and press [Talk] or [Spk.], or press [Speakerphone] on the base. To end the
call, press [Talk] on the handset or [Speakerphone] on the base, or simply place the
handset on the cradle.
Press [Speakerphone] on the base unit or [Talk] /
[Spk.] on the handset and listen for the dial tone.
The "In-Use" indicator on the base unit will be
turned ON.
Use the keypad to dial the phone number. The
phone number will be shown on the display along
with the call timer. Press [Speakerphone] on the
base unit or [Talk] on the handset to end your call.
Use the keypad to key in the phone number. To
edit the number on the display, press [DELET] to
clear wrong input.
Press [Speakerphone] on the base unit or [Talk] /
[Spk.] on the handset to call the number. The call
timer will start counting. Press [Speakerphone] on
the base unit or [Talk] on the handset to end your
call.
